Your First Visit
Prior to your appointment you’ll be emailed new patient paperwork to complete. When you come in for your initial checkup and clean visit, our friendly reception staff will greet you and assist you with the new patient paperwork if you have not had the chance to complete it prior to coming in. You’ll notice our office is warm and inviting, with a sense of peace throughout.
Your dentist will then greet you, who will bring you into the dental surgery and talk with you for a few minutes to get to know you and make you feel welcome and relaxed. She’ll talk with you about why you’re here, and what your goals are. This way our dentists can ensure they are working with you to achieve your goals.
The checkup and clean visit will include full X-rays, a thorough examination, advanced gentle Airflow cleaning with superior results and a fluoride treatment. Everything we do is designed to be gentle and comfortable for you, and your dentist will explain everything she will do so there won’t be any surprises.
If your dentist discovers any problems, she will explain the situation to you and make recommendations for corrective care. She’ll let you know what that correction will involve and how much it will cost. We’ll work with you to agree on a plan of action, and then we’ll print out the treatment plan and get a quote from your insurance, so you know what your out-of-pocket costs will be. We are transparent and upfront about our fees.
This initial checkup and clean appointment takes about one hour.
Paying for Care
We are a preferred provider for HBF and accept all health funds with on the spot claiming through HICAPS available. We offer payment plans and also accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
